Wade, Meredith back for ‘Canes against Renegades in BBL

Veteran Matthew Wade and speedster Riley Meredith will make their BBL returns from injury for the Hobart Hurricanes against the Melbourne Renegades.
Both sides are searching for their first win of the season at Blundstone Arena on Saturday night.
Wade returns from a back spasm to open the batting, while Meredith has overcome a side strain suffered in Hobart’s opening fixture.
Mac Wright replaces allrounder Mitchell Owen from the Hurricanes’ heavy last-start loss to Perth on the road.
Hobart, who are 0-2, won the bat flip and elected to bowl first.
The Renegades, yet to register a victory from three matches, are unchanged following a six-wicket loss to the Brisbane Heat on Thursday.
