Knee injury for Aussie Ingles in NBA

Joe Ingles has been helped off court past concerned Utah Jazz teammates after the Boomers favourite’s knee gave way in a non-contact incident.

The NBA veteran and key piece for the title-contending Jazz was driving to the basket in the second quarter against Minnesota when his left knee buckled.

Ingles writhed in pain as his teammates surrounded him on the court, before he was taken away in the arms of staff.

In his eighth season with the Jazz, the 34-year-old was a crucial piece as the Boomers powered to a historic bronze medal at last year’s Tokyo Olympics.
