Czech player loses visa, joins Djokovic

The Australian Border Force (ABF) has reportedly cancelled the visa of Czech player Renata Voracova and placed her in the same immigration hotel as Novak Djokovic.
The 38-year-old doubles specialist had already participated in an Australian Open warm-up event in Melbourne this week before she was detained on Thursday and taken to the Park Hotel, the ABC reported.
It’s understood Voracova entered Australia last month with a vaccine exemption on the basis she had been infected with COVID-19 in the last six months, like Djokovic.
Voracova was informed by ABF officials that she had to leave the country and it was unclear if she intended to challenge the decision, the ABC reported.
Serbia’s world No.1 Djokovic will spend a third night in a quarantine hotel awaiting the outcome of an appeal against the decision by the ABF to cancel the reigning Australian Open champion’s entry visa and deport him.
