An amber alert has been issued, with three young children missing on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

 Police are urgently seeking public assistance to locate three missing children last seen with a man known to them on the Gold Coast.

An amber alert has been issued for the three-year-old girl, five-year-old boy and six-year-old boy who went missing from Paradise Point at 4pm on Sunday.

Police believe the children were with a man known to them earlier in the day before they left a Paradise Point address around 4.30pm in a Hyundai hatchback with the registration 205SKW.

The man is assisting detectives with investigations after being located by authorities an hour away, about 10.15pm, at Slacks Creek.

Both the children and vehicle remain missing. 

The children are described as Caucasian, slim and with blonde/blond hair.
