Man dies after being hit by car he is washing

A man has died after being hit by a car he was washing in central Queensland.

Police say the 27-year-old was cleaning the sedan in Mount Morgan about 3pm on Sunday.

The unoccupied vehicle rolled forward and struck the man before crashing into a fence.

He was taken to Mount Morgan hospital where he later died, police said.
