Zip ties, bleach, blades found with alleged kidnappers

Two people were allegedly kidnapped in Brisbane before they escaped and their captors were arrested in a car carrying zip ties, bleach, hacksaw blades and a blowtorch.
The couple were allegedly threatened by two men at a park in the suburb of Everton Park and abducted in an SUV about 2am on Thursday.
Police say the men travelled to the Gold Coast and stopped at a car park in the suburb of Parkwood.
The man, 33, and woman, 42, managed to escape and call for help about 8am.
Police later found the men asleep in the vehicle and arrested them.
Officers found zip ties, bleach, rubber gloves, hacksaw blades, plastic sheeting, aluminium foil, wire snips and a blowtorch in the vehicle along with cash and drugs.
The two men from NSW, aged 35 and 36, were charged with kidnapping, deprivation of liberty and torture, as well as assault occasioning bodily harm and robbery.
They were denied police bail and were to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
