Police launch probe into 12 stolen puppies

Police are appealing for public assistance after twelve puppies were stolen from a pet playpen in south east Queensland.
The kennel-mates of various breeds were snatched from a Pine Mountain address in Ipswich sometime after 5.30pm on April 29 and before 6am on April 30.
Investigators have so far recovered eleven puppies, all eight to nine weeks old, however, a male blue fawn staffy is still missing.
Two shoodles (shih-tsu -poodle cross) and two miniature fox terriers were found on April 30 at a Raceview address.
A further seven puppies including a King Charles cavalier spaniel were found on Friday.
