Queensland teen charged with stabbing after break-in

A teenage boy has been charged with assault after allegedly stabbing a man during a break-in.
Queensland Police say the 15-year-old boy was one of three people who broke into the Logan property on Thursday.
A 49-year-old man who confronted the group received a stab wound to the stomach during a physical altercation, and was taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.
On Monday, the teen was remanded in custody after being charged with acts intended to resist/prevent lawful arrest/detention, enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use of motor vehicle and assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company.
He is expected to appear in Beenleigh Children’s Court at a later date.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
