Five hurt in golf buggy crash on Hamilton Island

Five people have been hurt in a golf buggy crash on Queensland’s Hamilton Island.
A 21-year-old woman was flown to Mackay Hospital with suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries following the crash on a driveway at the holiday destination about 1.30am on Thursday.
The driver, an 18-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and three other passengers, a 19-year-old man and two 21-year-old men, were also hurt.
The police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
