Man hit with rape, numerous sexual assault charges

A Townsville man has been charged with 14 counts of sexual assault after four women made complaints to police.
The alleged offences occurred between October 2016 and March 2023.
Police say all four women knew the man and had connections to a unit in the suburb of North Ward.
As well as the sexual assault charges, the 66-year-old man has also been charged with one count of rape and three counts of enter dwelling.
He is expected to face Townsville Magistrates Court on June 27.
