Electrocuted teen dies under Qld bridge

A teenage boy has died from electrocution after being found under a rail bridge in central Queensland.

Queensland Ambulance confirmed paramedics attended the scene at West Gladstone and treated the 15-year-old who was in a critical condition after being electrocuted, a spokesperson said.

Emergency services were called to the bridge, which passes over Auckland Creek in the suburb of Clinton, about 12.30pm on Thursday.

Police said the circumstances did not appear to be suspicious and a report was being prepared for the coroner.
