Bikies arrested after Qld home invasion

Six bikies have been arrested after a case of mistaken identity led to a “horrific” home invasion south of Brisbane, police say.
Two men and a woman were assaulted and tortured for several hours by Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang members and associates at a Marsden residence in July, police said.
One of the men required medical treatment.
“This was a horrific, vicious and premeditated attack on innocent people, who are victims of mistaken identity,” Detective Acting Inspector Adrian Sala said in a statement.
“This violent behaviour shows what these gangs are capable of and the reality of what criminal gangs do.”
The six men – aged between 19 and 22 – were arrested on Wednesday after police executed multiple search warrants across locations south of Brisbane.
They were charged with enter dwelling with intent, armed robbery, attempted rape, torture, deprivation of liberty and unlawful use of motor vehicle.
They were denied bail and are set to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Police said the Marsden incident was not reported at the time due to threats of further violence by the group.
However the men were arrested after a “complex investigation” was launched in August.
Police said a search of a suspected Bandido OMCG premises during an unrelated probe seized CCTV footage that identified items stolen during the Marsden burglary, sparking Operation Uniform Lin.
