Police have called for public help to solve the mystery of a 12-year-old girl’s sudden death on the Gold Coast in April.

Police were called to a home in Bellagio Crescent, Coomera, on April 18 where Tiffani Scholten had been found unresponsive. Emergency services were called and the girl was pronounced dead.

Police declared a crime scene at the home and ‘Operation Uniform Zoysia’ was established.

Police said Tiffani suffered from a number of health conditions, but they are continuing to investigate the circumstances and cause of her death.

Detectives are now appealing to anyone who may have seen Tiffani between December 2021 and April 18 2022 to come forward.

They also want to hear from people who visited the Bellagio Crescent home or had interactions with the family over the past two years.
