Qld police probe fatal container fire

Queensland police are investigating after a man’s body was found in Townsville following shipping container and caravan on fire.

Emergency services were called to a Woolcock Street industrial property in Townsville’s west just before 10pm on Thursday.

The body of a man believed to be in his 40s was found inside the shipping container.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

A media conference expected at 11am on Friday.
