Warren Entsch Mystery Covid Case

Allegations that Warren Entsch kept a suspected case of Covid secret from his staff and the community have surfaced today.
According to an article published in the Cairns Post today, the Leichhardt MP mentioned his infection to journalists during a trip to Cooktown earlier this week.
Questions for further information on his infection and isolation dates have been met with resistance, with his office refusing to provide specific dates or confirm if he informed his staff.
“Warren believes he had a mild case of Covid while on leave at his farm earlier this year,” a spokesman said.
“Warren didn’t tell the community as he couldn’t confirm he had Covid.”
Whether he was out campaigning in the community with a suspected Covid case can’t be confirmed as the MP is refusing to make public the dates of his isolation period.
The mystery Covid case has surface this week after Mr Entsch made his negative feelings towards mandates known at a candidate debate in Cairns.
“I absolutely disagree with them,” he said.
“I personally have been grossly inconvenienced by mandates in the past.
“I question their requirement or the necessity, and I’d like to see the bloody things gone.”
The Queenslander approached Warren Entsch’s office for a response but was told they are not commenting further on the allegations.
