Woman accused of accessory to Qld murder

A woman has been charged with being an accessory to the murder of a 53-year-old man in Toowoomba.

The man’s body was discovered on Christmas Eve when police responded to calls for a welfare check at 11.30am on December 24.

A 29-year-old North Toowoomba man and a 32-year-old Oakey man earlier were charged with murder.

Detectives on Thursday charged a third person – a 33-year-old woman – with being an accessory after the fact of murder.

Police will allege the woman helped the men attempt to conceal the alleged homicide.

She is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Friday.
