Mulitple blasts kill 18, injure 30 in northeast Nigeria

At least 18 people have been killed and 30 others injured after a series of
blasts in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno, the head of the local state emergency management agency says.
The blasts happened in the town of Gwoza, with wedding guests among the victims.
A wedding venue in Tashan Mararaba was reportedly hit in the first explosion.
The blasts underscore ongoing security challenges in Borno state.
