Three people have been killed in a Russian attack on a frontline village in Ukraine’s southeast, a local governor said.

Governor Ivan Fedorov said the three civilians were killed on Sunday morning in the village of Guliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region.

“Two men and a woman died under the rubble of their own house, which was hit by a Russian shell,” Fedorov said on the Telegram messaging app.

He said one more person was injured after Russians shelled the village with a Grad self-propelled multiple rocket launcher.

Reuters could not independently verify the report.

The frontline Zaporizhzhia region is under constant Russian bombardment by rockets, drones and cannons.
