More COVID-19 deaths across Australia

More than 50 people have died with COVID-19 in the latest reporting period across Australia.
In Victoria on Tuesday, the death toll was 20, while in NSW it was 19 and in Queensland 11.
Four deaths were reported in Western Australia and one each in Tasmania and the ACT.
That took the national toll to 56 with no deaths recorded in South Australia or the Northern Territory.
The latest deaths take Australia’s toll since the start of the pandemic to more than 8500.

NSW: 7342 cases, 19 deaths, 1185 in hospital with 36 in ICU
Victoria: 9595 cases, 20 deaths, 527 in hospital with 31 in ICU
Queensland: 4397 cases, 11 deaths, 359 in hospital with four in ICU
Tasmania: 829 cases, one death, 48 in hospital with one in ICU
NT: 265 cases, no deaths, 15 in hospital with one in ICU
WA: 8201 cases, four deaths, 318 in hospital with 10 in ICU
ACT: 673 cases, one death, 93 in hospital with four in ICU
SA: 2689 cases, no deaths, 232 in hospital with six in ICU.
