A Lego theft ring has been blocked after police seized more than $300,000 worth of the popular play sets.

Hundreds of Lego boxes were pieced together by officers after they made a stunning discovery in an Adelaide home.

An investigation clicked when police searched the Dudley Park residence about 5pm on Tuesday.

“It will be alleged that when the home was searched, a significant amount of Lego was located, valued at $320,000,” a police statement said.

The Lego sets were stolen from numerous retail outlets across the metropolitan area, police said.

Pictures released by police show the huge brick haul officers had to remove from the home, with the array of sets ranging from Star Wars to Sonic the Hedgehog.

“Significant resources and logistics were required to transport the items which included two mounted police horse floats and 15 pallets to hold the seized Lego,” police said.

A 34-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man at the property were arrested and charged with theft.

They were bailed to appear in Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on May 12.

It comes after a 41-year-old man was charged after allegedly stealing $250,000 worth of Lego and toys from Adelaide department stores in September 2025.
