Santa Paws is Coming to Town!
Move over, Rudolph—there’s a new set of four-legged heroes taking over the festive season. If your 2026 hasn’t been booked out yet, it’s time to fetch the most “pawsome” gift in Brisbane: the 2026 QPS Dog Squad Calendar.
Whether you’re a fan of a tiny police puppy in training or a stoic tactical working dog looking fierce in high-vis, this year’s calendar is guaranteed to make you “paws” and smile.
Where to Find the Goodest Boys (and Girls)
If you missed out earlier this week, don’t howl! You’ve still got a golden opportunity to grab a copy and perhaps meet some of the squad’s finest furry members.
- Friday, 19 December: Head over to Westfield Mt Gravatt (Garden City).
- Time: 12pm – 3pm.
- Location: Level 1, outside MIB Barbers and Nexus Nails (right near Brooklyn Donuts—perfect for a snack-and-shop).
More Than Just Cute Faces
While the “pup-arazzi” photos are definitely the drawcard, these calendars serve a noble purpose. Every cent raised goes directly to the Blue Paws Association and Blue Hope Support Services. These legends work tirelessly to support our retired police dogs and the officers who serve alongside them.
Regional Round-Up
Not in Brissy? You can still get your hands on a copy at several local stations across the Sunshine State. If you’re near these spots, pop in and say g’day:
| Region | Location | Opening Hours |
| Bundaberg | Bundaberg Police Station | 9am – 3pm |
| Mackay | District Office, 67 Sydney St | 8am – 4pm |
| Moreton | Burpengary Police Station | Standard Business Hours |
| Mt Isa | Mount Isa Police Station | Monday to Friday |
| Rockhampton | North Rockhampton & Rockhampton City | Check local hours |
| Sunshine Coast | Coolum Beach Police Station | Standard Business Hours |
Note: Stock is flying out the door faster than a Kelpie chasing a ball! Check your local QPS social media pages for updates on availability before you make the trek.
