A Queensland man who taught at a primary school in Melbourne’s southeast has been slapped with dozens of sexual assault charges decades after his alleged attacks.
The 82-year-old was on Wednesday charged with 26 counts of indecently assaulting a male.
The charges relate to alleged sexual assaults dating back to the 1960s and 1970s and linked to a male teacher at a primary school at Beaumaris.
The 82-year-old is due to front the Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 7.
Victoria Police said it was committed to bringing child predators to justice, no matter how many years had passed since the crimes took place.
Officers urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
