Body found on Brisbane suburban block

The sudden death of a person whose body was found on a vacant block in southern Brisbane is not suspicious.

Police said the person’s remains were found on a vacant block near the Brisbane River on Rome St, Yeronga, on Tuesday.

Police Regional Duty Officer Laurie Shevlin said they are yet to identify the person.
