Woman pulled from Qld resort pool dies

A woman has died days after being pulled unconscious from the pool at a north Queensland resort and casino. 

The woman, aged in her 60s, was found in The Ville Resort-Casino pool about 10.20am on Saturday and taken to Townsville University Hospital in critical condition.

She died overnight Monday, police said. 

The incident is not believed to be suspicious, and police and Workplace Health and Safety investigators will prepare a report for the coroner.
