Teenager charged with murder after man’s body found

A teenager has been charged with murder days after a 35-year-old man’s body was found in a home west of Brisbane.

Police said the 19-year-old man knew the victim who they believe died from a gunshot wound.

Emergency services discovered the 35-year-old’s body when they were called to a Lowood home early on Tuesday morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 19-year-old is set to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Thursday.
