Two Qld cops charged with assaulting man

Two Brisbane police officers will face court after allegedly using excessive force against a man in their custody.
The senior constables, 59 and 51, have both been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm over the incident in Ashgrove on August 3.
The pair have been stood down from duty during the legal proceedings, and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
