Search for Nambour man after car found abandoned

An extensive search is underway for a man missing from Nambour since last Friday morning.
Tarci Carey, 22, was last seen at an address on Meditation Court. He was wearing a grey jumper with blue and red stripes and long black pants.
He has not made contact with anyone, and concerns are held for his welfare.
Police were told Mr Carey’s silver Mitsubishi Lancer was seen on a 4WD track in Kenilworth yesterday. They searched the area and found the car abandoned.
A search resumed this morning in the Brooloo State Forest, near Imbil, in the area where the car was found. Police and SES volunteers are combing the area, with drones and aircraft assisting the search.
Police say anyone with information on Mr Carey’s whereabouts should come forward.
