Police are appealing for public help to identify a man they want to interview in relation to an assault and robbery at Labrador on the Gold Coast in June.

A man sustained a broken hand, lacerated eye socket, and facial bruising in the attack at about 2.30am on June 29, outside an apartment block on Marine Parade.

His wallet and keys were stolen. He needed medical attention for his injuries.

The alleged attacker wore a black NASA hoodie with the US flag emblazoned on its front.

Investigations are continuing
