Search underway in Warwick for missing man

Police have appealed for public assistance with the search for a 74-year-old man missing from Warwick, in the Queensland Southern Downs region.
John Henry Howard was last seen at a Gore Street home yesterday morning between 7 and 9.30.
Mr Howard has a medical condition, and police said concerns are held for his welfare as it’s out of character for him to not return home.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark speckled beanie, brown boots and is believed to be carrying a backpack.
Police ground crews and aircraft are involved in the search. People are being asked to look out for Mr Howard in the Southern Downs region and to check buildings around their properties.
