Two prisoners recaptured in Townsville and one still on the run

A second escapee from a Townsville correctional facility has been recaptured this morning.
Police said the Townsville Tactical Crime Unit located and arrested a 22-year-old man and a woman at an address in Stuart.
It’s expected the man will be charged with escaping lawful custody and may face further charges.
Three men walked out of the low security facility on Monday evening. A 19-year-old man was recaptured last night and will face Townsville Magistrates Court today charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and escaping lawful custody.
A search for the third escapee is continuing. Police have urged people not to approach the man, but to promptly report any sightings or information.
