Infant seriously injured in alleged domestic violence

A baby has been seriously injured during an alleged domestic violence assault in central Queensland.

The seven-week-old was taken to hospital in Moranbah with “significant injuries” on Tuesday.

Following an investigation, police arrested a 23-year-old man on Wednesday.

He was charged him with grievous bodily harm and was expected to appear in Moranbah Magistrates Court on Thursday.
