Homicide investigation under way after Gold Coast death

A man has died after getting into a fight with another man outside a tavern on the Gold Coast.
Queensland Police when to the establishment in Robina about 10.15pm on Thursday following reports of an altercation.
They found a 26-year-old man, who was taken to hospital but later died.
The second man fled the scene before police arrived.
Officers later went to a home in Mermaid Beach and arrested a man, also 26, who is assisting police with their inquiries.
