Man charged over 2020 Melbourne murder

A Queensland man has been charged with the 2020 murder of a woman in Melbourne’s south east suburbs.
The 27-year-old Endeavour Hills woman was found dead inside a Haverstock Hill Close property on November 6, 2020.
Homicide Squad detectives on Wednesday arrested a 28-year-old Nerang man in the Gold Coast’s outer suburbs.
The man has been charged with murder and will face a Queensland magistrates court on Wednesday afternoon where detectives will apply to have him extradited to Victoria.
Police say the man and woman were known to each other. Detectives are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
